Abstract:
The process of transitionin Central and Eastern Europe isfeatured by the formation of supplychain networks in agribusiness.Involving exchange relationshipsamong numerous participants of thefood sector, supply chain networksare particularly important for thedevelopment of the quality aspects.Effective resolution of such astrategic issue requires that supplychain networks are successfullymanaged. However, it is not clear upto now what the success of supplychain networks actually is. To fill thisgap, we present the model of supplychain network success. Implicationsfor food chain management inCentral and Eastern Europe arediscussed.
