Abstract: The aim of the paper is to propose the methodology, and to summarize some of the results of our methodology of cognitive and ideographic description of the oil and gas business terminological system, based on its logical and conceptual analysis, carried out within the framework of cognitive spheres I. “Nature†. II. “Man†. III. “Society†. IV. “Cognition (a priori)†. Having carried out the research we can state that the methodology proved its applicability to the oil and gas business term-system description and can also be used when describing other terminology systems.
