Note: [English Title] Not available [English Abstract] In this study, the theoretical background of core inflation and measurement methods are investigated. Although related literature has not yet reached to a concensus on the definition of core inflation, most policymakers and analysts agree on the idea that core inflation should be a good indicator of the underlying inflation trend. The methods to measure core inflation are classified in two broad categories: (i) statistical adjustment methods and (ii) econometric methods. [English Keywords] Not available
