Note: [English Title] INTERNATIONAL CAPITAL FLOWS AND DEVELOPMENT THE CASE OF TURKEY [English Abstract] The aim of this study is to investigate the economic impacts of liberalizing capital movements on Turkish economy. Within this respect a theoretical framework has been proposed and the validity of the framework has been tested by using Turkish data. It is found out that strong correlation exists between growth and capital inflows in Turkey. Bearing this in mind, special emphasis has been given to the ways and methods of dealing with capital inflows. [English Keywords] Not available
