Note: [English Title] Not available [English Abstract] This paper that examines the determinants of school attainments boys and girls in Turkey. The effect of family income, parent's age, education level and employment status on the child educatin level investigates seperately with orderred probit models for boys and girls. Analysis of child schooling shows that the educational level of parents, or of other adults in the household, is one of the most important determinants of primary school enrollmentin both urban and rural areas. Household income and the child's age are also important determinants of primary school enrollment. [English Keywords] Ordered probit, human capital model, school enrollment
