Note: [English Title] Dollarization and Money Substitution in Turkey: 1990-1995 [English Abstract] The aim of this study is to analyze the dollarization or currency substitution in Turkey during the period 1990- 1995 on a monthly basis. lt was found that the dollarization rate in Turkey has increased after 1993. The dollarization rate was less than 1 percent iıı l984 but this rate was more that 50 percent in 1995. It was also found that there was a positive relationship between the dollarization rat e and the depreciation of TL. [English Keywords] Not available
