Note: [English Title] ESTIMATING RESIDENTIAL DEMAND FOR ELECTRICITY: THE CASE OF TURKEY, 1950-1991 [English Abstract] Short-and long-run residential electricity demand elasticities were estimated for the period of 1950 -1951. Short-run elasticities were estimated by error-correction model while long-run elasticities were estimated by co-integration regression. It was determined taht in Turkey residential short-and long-run own-price elasticities are -0.11 and -0.33, respectively. Similar results were found for income. The estimated short-and long-runineome elasticities are 0.30 and 0.79, respectively. [English Keywords] Not available
