Economical performance towards capitalizing renewable energy

Abstract: In a world of technology and changing habits, but also driven by environmental awareness, renewable resources seem to be our last chance of saving the Earth. Some countries like China, the USA, Brazil or Germany have fully understood the need for alternative energy sources. Still, the emerging countries as well need to make an effort and invest in this field as soon as possible. That is why the present paper wishes to assess Romania?s potential in what concerns renewable resources, emphasizing in the same time the level of some top investing countries.
