Abstract:
Increasing productivity in a modern economy requires guaranteeing the availability and coordination of different types of productive information. "Economic complexity theory" and "product space" approach come to the fore in order to define productive technical knowledge and evaluate diversification opportunities and constraints. Product Space analysis has been increasingly used in recent years to analyse the foreign trade complexity (or mediocrity) of countries. The purpose of this study is to analyse Türkiye’s foreign trade between 2000-2022 with product space and tree map approaches. In this context, firstly, the general view of Türkiye’s foreign trade for the period was examined, and then Türkiye’s exports were evaluated in terms of product space analysis and tree map.
