 Digital Feminism: An Analysis of the UN Women Türkiye Instagram AccountSeril ÇAKMAK Ekä°ncä° Fiscaoeconomia, 2025, issue s1 Abstract: Today, many feminist practices are realized in digital spaces, leading to the transformation of feminism and feminist action. Digital feminism refers to feminist activist efforts carried out in online spaces. Therefore, how the current struggles of digital feminism and digital feminist practices are reflected on social media is an important research topic. Accordingly, the aim of this study is to identify the current struggle issues of digital feminism through the posts of feminist communities on their social media accounts and to examine how these issues are addressed on social media. In addition, the study aims to examine the use of hashtags by feminist communities in the context of digital feminism. Within the scope of the research, the prominent themes and hashtags in terms of current issues of feminism in the posts shared on the UN Women Türkiye account in 2024 were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it is seen that in 2024, the UN Women Türkiye Instagram account shared posts on the themes of gender equality and women's empowerment, violence against women, economy, politics, sports, and education. In addition, it was determined that different hashtags were used for each theme, and hashtags were used in activism campaigns.
