The Alignment of People, Process, and Tools, Part 1
Joe Smith
Foresight: The International Journal of Applied Forecasting, 2009, issue 15, 12-18
Abstract:
Smith comments that of the three crucial components for forecasting-people, process, and tools-too many companies are quick to focus on tools without fully appreciating the importance of the other two, people and process. Process design, he contends, is an especially important prerequisite to optimize forecast performance. Parts 2 and 3 of this series will be published in subsequent issues of Foresight.
