Commentary: Cross-Disciplinary Approaches to Supply-Chain Issues
Jeff Baker
Foresight: The International Journal of Applied Forecasting, 2021, issue 61, 18-19
Abstract:
In a commentary on Jonathon Karelse's article in Foresight, The Case for Parsimonious Intervention, Baker reiterates the costliness of both over and underforecasting and says S and OP can play a major role in overcoming bias in the process. "The varied-and often contrary-goals of this team provide an ideal proving ground to create a culture that is aware of its own biases and can overcome them.
