Abstract:
Wayfair, an e-commerce company, is one of the largest online destinations for home-goods shopping (wayfair.com). Faced, as most companies have been, with the challenges wrought by the COVID pandemic, Wayfair implemented a fundamental revamping of its demand-forecasting approach. In this article, the team that engineered this transformation describes their undertaking and its resulting performance. Copyright International Institute of Forecasters, 2021
