Into the (Largely) Unknown, Part 2: Uses of Fuzzy Forecasting

Foresight: The International Journal of Applied Forecasting, 2022, issue 64, 19-25
Abstract:
This article is a follow-up to the previous one in Foresight, where the authors "introduced the principles of fuzzy logic to create possibility-based methods of forecasting." When there are limits to forecastability, "the absence of knowledge needed to make useful predictions mathematically necessitates that we use our judgment to generate forecasts."
