Monitoring of Russia's Economic Outlook. Trends and Challenges of Socio-Economic Development (In Russian), 2015, issue 16, 1-26

Abstract: Mid-September demonstrated a long forgotten phenomenon: crude and ruble moved in different directions. Crude prices were falling and the ruble followed suit but slower and then the ruble began growing on the back of falling oil price. It is difficult to specify the reasons for such different trajectories less “geopolitical positive” development which materialized in rapprochement between Russian and the West following a number of terrorist attacks, Moscow’s readiness to restructure Kiev’s debts, etc.
