Abstract: By the light of past literatures about clients and sponsor implications and their roles during a project, I will intent to identify in what way they can be identify as external stakeholders and how should they be managed in order to have a successful project. I will first define what a successful project is. Then it will be explain in what way sponsor and client are similar in term of implications and roles. And finally I will identify the key aspect to manage as a project manager when focusing on external stakeholders.
