The Growing Impact of the Macro Environment

Abstract: This article extends previous studies of available management actions to that of the external environment which is now becoming the dominant factor for both companies and national governments. It discusses likely trends but since changes are taking place so rapidly, avoids the danger of making a forecast for any particular year ahead.
