Abstract:
"Much is currently being discussed about the digitalisation of the world of work and its results. The consequences for the way work is organised and the working conditions of those employed cannot be completely foreseen. The results of a current survey indicate that the occupational use of digital information and communication technologies is widespread. At the same time there are signs of increasing inequality on the labour market: employees whose tasks are becoming more and more challenging because of the new (digital) technologies stand in contrast to those whose work is demanding less and less skills. Having said that, the positive effects predominate. (IAB)" (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
