Abstract: "The German labour market remains in a state of stagnation. At the national level, both employment and unemployment are expected to remain largely unchanged between 2025 and 2026. While there are some encouraging developments at the level of individual federal states and employment districts, these local improvements are not yet strong enough to trigger a broader turnaround across all regions."
