Abstract: Known for its role in the development of a country, in people’s behavior and way of thinking, education holds an important position in the society. In other words, education is the basis for supporting culture, individual training, and also for the evolution of humanity. In Romania, the educational system has experienced important structural changes, both at national and local (regional) level. The structural changes have been manifested with different intensities by areas of residence, by urban and rural areas respectively. In this context, the present approach aims to carry out a diagnosis analysis of the education system in the Romanian rural area in the post-accession period.
