Abstract:
In the period of transition, the Central and Eastern European Countries went through an intensive process of disorganization and distribution of products. The dual character of agriculture in these countries (very small units on one side) requires different approaches from the structural point of view in order to develop a competitive agricultural sector that could advantageously get integrated into the EU agricultural structures.
