Abstract: With the extensive development of various tennis events, tennis is gradually gaining popularity among the masses in China. Many colleges and universities have also introduced specialized tennis courses. However, as the education system undergoes deepening reforms, the traditional teaching methods are no longer able to meet the demands of education. In light of this, we propose implementing the Two-Phase Teaching Method of "short tennis + standard tennis" in colleges and universities to cultivate students' interest in tennis, enhance the overall teaching quality of tennis, and promote its development in the academic setting.
