Abstract: In this article, we have addressed issues related to the optimization of the coverage and connectivity of a wireless sensor network by scheduling sensor activity with coverage and connectivity criteria. We presented a linear formulation of the coverage and connectivity that we solve with CPLEX. The results obtained show that sensor scheduling can improve the lifetime of a network by maintaining its coverage and connectivity.
