Abstract:
In an organisation, continuity and change always go side by side. In the current business scenario, the 'continuity' and 'change' are found of great importance. In the past, there was a lot of emphasis on 'managing the change' in the business. The efforts for managing the change in the organisation are found to lead towards a lot of turbulence or end up with the chaos. The management of continuity forces along with change forces has lead to successful organisations. In the current business environment, it is very important to manage both continuity and change forces. In this paper, a case study of a tractor manufacturing company has been presented. The case company has been analysed for presence of various continuity and change forces. The status of continuity and change in the case company for the last few years has been presented with the intention to understand the performance of various continuity forces and change forces year on year basis.
