Abstract:
This study compares entrepreneurial attitudes in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia with that of the USA, based on Flash Barometer surveys conducted by the European Union in 2004 and 2007. Measurement and evaluation of the legal and financial environment in these countries is examined by their changing rankings in the World Bank's Doing Business database.
