Abstract:
This research is related to the intra-personal factors that have an impact on the willingness or unwillingness to share knowledge (KS). The strategies of grounded theory in the qualitative section and the SEM in the quantitative section are used. Data were collected from organisations associated with the Yazd power industry. Based on the coding and qualitative analysis, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to 248 members of the mentioned organisations. The research model, which is the effect of KS enabler intra-personal factors (except personality) on the creation of good feeling and finally willingness to KS, were confirmed. Also, effect of KS inhibitor intra-personal factors on creation of negative attitude to KS and leading to unwillingness to KS were confirmed. In this research, to avoid complexity, KM enablers and their impact on the inner person were not addressed. This paper tracks the human-psychological factors (cognitive, perceptual, personality/trait, and attitudinal) involved in individual employees' engagement in knowledge sharing process.
