Abstract:
Exporters of Thai mangoes are currently facing problems of being much less competitive than competitors for the consistency of output, ineffective management of production data, and high production costs. Therefore, to solve such problems and create a model system for the entrepreneurs to learn how to apply modern technologies together with an assessment of the costs, a system to evaluate the cost structure has been developed that is consistent with the guideline for managing cold chain system, from upstream to downstream activities throughout the supply chain. The research indicates that this assessment system can be used as a model for entrepreneurs to learn and to apply modern technologies in conjunction with the assessment of production costs effectively. This allows entrepreneurs to learn the process of checking the source of inefficiency and waste in the production process to bring such information to further develop and improve sustainable competitiveness.
