Abstract:
The main objective of the article is to present results of research conducted in the field of special educational needs (SEN) education, particularly: 1) to provide deeper insight in the SEN system of education in the Czech Republic; 2) to design the categorisation of SEN learners reflecting their abilities to work with iPads; 3) to verify this design within the Czech educational system. Categorisation is built on three levels of difficulty of task and four levels of learners' autonomy. The proposed design was verified on the sample of 25% of SEN learners educated in the Czech Republic. The low amounts of 3%-5% of non-categorised learners approve the validity. Finally, the results are reflected in the process of individualisation of learning.
