Using online surveys for primary research data collection: lessons from the field

Abstract: A substantive literature base exists for conducting traditional survey research. However, the extant literature on using online survey software for academic research data collection is less developed. This paper captures the present authors' learning experiences in utilising survey software in a recent large-scale research project. Numerous practical implications are provided.
