International Journal of Innovation and Learning, 2006, vol. 3, issue 2, 186-197

Globalisation processes in education are reflected in the notion of 'policy borrowing' and knowledge transfer. The author discusses transfers of innovations with respect to cultural contexts and traditions. A reflection on headteachers' training is presented with respect to addressing cultural traditions.
