Abstract: In today's global market, achieving cost leadership and quality assurance are the common concerns for every organisation including e-commerce, but there should be due consideration to reduce the negative effect on the environment. Hence, organisations should focus on sustainable reverse logistics using a triple bottom line approach. This study focuses on identifying and prioritising the critical success factors of sustainable reverse logistics with respect to e-commerce organisations. In the first phase ,a qualitative study was done to identify the critical success factors which enable organisations to attain potential benefits. In the second phase, they were prioritised using an analytical hierarchy process (AHP) approach. Through analysis, economic factors were found to be the most important factors followed by environmental and social factors. The results also provided an insight into the global ranking of all the critical success factors.
