International Journal of Process Management and Benchmarking, 2023, vol. 14, issue 4, 530-543

Abstract: The industrial development is having an increasingly negative impact on the natural environment, such as global warming. Green manufacturing systems, which aim to reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing processes and products, are becoming extremely important as we look to the future. Therefore, these case studies aim to find the effectiveness of green manufacturing (GM) parameters in 'Indian manufacturing industries'. For the same purpose, two manufacturing industries visited to collect the information of various strategies implemented by them with in their manufacturing units and accordingly the results, i.e., in the form of overall manufacturing performance, investment cost for implementation, etc. has been studied.
