Abstract:
The aim of this research is to synthesise the literature on merger and acquisition research in human resource management using bibliometric analysis. This study looks at past, current, and future merger and acquisition research in human resource management. The documents are extracted from the Scopus database, and 171 documents are chosen for bibliometric analysis using the PRISMA technique. To identify the most influential document and authors, citation analysis is performed. The most prolific writers and sources are identified using productivity analysis. The four thematic clusters of merger and acquisition research in human resource management are discovered using bibliographic coupling. To identify citation patterns and highly referenced texts, co-citation analysis is employed. Additionally, co-occurrence analysis is employed to create the study thematic trends, and word cloud is used to highlight the frequently used keywords in merger and acquisition research in human resource management. The articles outline the directions for further study.
