Abstract:
Environmental factors and climate change are major point to develop clean agricultural production. The important roles of trade openness and information technology are awareness of the role of clean innovation in agricultural production. Therefore, agriculture will have to focus on environmental protection and natural resources protection towards sustainable development. This study investigates the influence of trade openness and AI application on clean innovation in agricultural production. Structural equation modelling through SPSS AMOS 20.0 was employed to analyse data. The results indicate that trade openness and AI application have positive effects on clean agricultural innovation and environment protection. Moreover, trade openness was found to be direct and indirect impact on AI application through clean innovation. This study sends several implications to enhance the agriculture production literature and farm households that intend to adopt clean innovation in the future.
