Abstract:
In a highly competitive world, evaluating financial and marketing performance is crucial for manufacturing sectors. As a result, it is essential to have a proper and accurate performance review. Financial as well as production performance indicators need to be carefully chosen during the review process since they show how competitive a firm is. Therefore, core functional competencies play a vital role. This paper deals with industrial performance and finding the critical factors for the same. Hence multi-criteria decision making technique called fuzzy CODAS has been used to choose important alternatives. Results show that technical competency and material and equipment related competency, planning competency and product and control competency come out to be critical ones out of nine factors considered for the study.
