Abstract: The FinTech gateway has opened new channels for approaching customers with novel technologies and improving their overall experience. The study aims to determine the drivers of FinTech adoption and investigate the role of psychological factors in promoting the diffusion of financial services rendered through digital platforms. While integrating the theory of planned behaviour and unified theory of acceptance and use of technology framework, the study determined their synergistic impact on behavioural intentions to adopt FinTech services. The data of 654 respondents has been collected using a mix of random and snowball sampling techniques. To test various proposed hypotheses, PLS-SEM has been used. The techniques of blindfolding and PLS predict were used to test the in-sample and out-of-sample predictive ability of the model, respectively. The financial literacy and perceived trust are the most critical factors driving FinTech adoption. The study proposed controllables were also significant in influencing FinTech adoption. Additionally, the study indicated that perceived behavioural control fully mediates the relationship between facilitating conditions and behavioural intentions.
