Impact of innovation and talent development on innovative business approach

Abstract: The objective of this research is to explore the influence of innovation and talent development on the adoption of innovative business strategies, with the moderating factor of work autonomy, specifically in the information technology sector. Moreover, this study also aims to assess the impact of product, process, and administrative innovation on the adoption of innovative business strategies. To gather empirical evidence, a purposive sampling technique was employed, and data was collected from 402 IT professionals in India. A structured questionnaire, adapted from existing literature, served as the survey instrument. The findings from the analysis reveal that both process and administrative innovation, alongside product innovation, are significantly associated with the adoption of innovative business approaches. Furthermore, product innovation and administrative innovation play a crucial role in fostering talent development. Additionally, talent development acts as a positive and significant mediator between product innovation, administrative innovation, and the adoption of innovative business strategies.
