Evolutionary multiobjective decision making in supply chain revenue management: a literature review

Abstract:
The present scenario of global economy, the competition is not between individual organisations but between competing supply chains to optimise revenue and reduce the operating cost of supply chain. The areas of Revenue Management and Supply Chain Management represent two fundamental pillars for the management of industries that procure and distribute products. This paper presents a brief literature review of methods, applications of evolutionary multiobjective optimisation in supply chain and revenue management. Paper concludes with a discussion of most promising research trends in future in the area of Supply Chain Management to survive in the global market.
