Abstract:
This study has been conducted in reference to the suppliers of office equipment serving the industrial accounts in Mexico, and addresses broadly the issues as to what extent the impact of quality performance is responsible for doing business with organisational buyers. Discussions also analyse the impact of channel function performance on relationship quality, which is moderated by the extent of the dependence structure on the relationship. The results showed that the impact of buyer–supplier codependency and relationship quality significantly affects the supplier performance. Finally, this study attempts to make theoretical contributions to the literature on buyer–supplier relationships towards optimising functional efficiency of a firm.
