Abstract: What are the determinants of the export performance of Argentina’s provinces? What factors explain how much, what, at what price and where Argentina’s provinces export? What is the role of factor endowments such capital, labor and natural resources each provinces is endowed? What is the role of public policies like the provision of infrastructure and fiscal behavior at the moment of explain the pattern of trade of the provinces? What is the impact of foreign direct investment on the export performance of each province? In this research we aim to provide some preliminary and general answers to these questions.
