Abstract:
The article analyzes the evolution of the Italian economy between 2012 and 2013 when the Italian economy was in recession. The main indicators showed declines or stagnation, among them being the rate of GDP growth, public and private consumption, the number of jobs, inflation, budget revenues etc. Projections for 2014 indicate a slight recovery of most of the indicators and out of recession as a result of adjustments in the banking sector, domestic demand and exports.
