Abstract:
Recently, there has been noticed a revival of economic activity in India, accompanied by: decreasing inflation rate due to the sharp drop in crude oil prices and other imported raw materials, the gradual reduction in the twin deficit, fiscal and of current account, and the diminishing public debt. The actual major challenge is to ratify the reform measures in Parliament, given that tensions between the Premier’s political party, Bharatiya Janata and the main opposition Congress Party are intensifying.
