Abstract:
A systems analysis study in 1983 diagnosed the causes of a serious undersupply of adequate housing in Turkey, and it suggested measures to be taken to cure the crisis. The policy recommendations were based on analyses of economic and financial models and interviews with housing experts. Most of the recommendations were implemented.
