Abstract:
In [Zangwill, W. I. 1969. Convergence conditions for nonlinear programming algorithms. Management Sci. 16(1, September).] Zangwill states conditions which are necessary and sufficient for convergence of a nonlinear programming algorithm. However, the conditions offered merely comprise a restatement of Zangwill's definition of convergence, and, as such, their potential usefulness is limited.
