Management Science, 1971, vol. 18, issue 4-Part-I, B237-B239
Abstract:
A process analysis model of the U. S. steel industry recently presented by Tsao and Day [Tsao, C. C., Day, R. H., "A Process Analysis Model of the U. S. Steel Industry," Management Science, Vol. 17 (June 1971), pp. B588-B608.], while accurate in almost every other aspect, is in error in the treatment of coking coal production. This note attempts to remedy this deficiency and presents a corrected matrix for this stage of production.
