Letter to the Editor—Quality Improvement by Operational Testing

Abstract: The familiar concept of burn-in for items with decreasing failure rate has been utilized here to achieve quality improvement by operational testing of lots that are mixtures of exponentially failing items, and a measure of improvement has been provided.
