Letter to the Editor—The Use of Branching in Dynamic Programming for Parametric Analysis

Abstract: After solving a dynamic program, it is supposed that the analyst wishes to study stage characteristics (such as the return function) to note its effects on the total optimal return. This paper presents a methodology that consumes less computer time than the present approach.
