Abstract:
A multichannel queuing system with unlimited Poisson input and exponential service is considered under a bulk-service discipline. Earlier results by Arora for the two-channel case have been generalized to c ( c ≥ 2) channels by using standard generating functions and Laplace transform methods. The transient state probabilities are obtained as Laplace transform and the steady probabilities are obtained as their limits.
