Abstract:
This paper formulates a team-decision problem in the format of an adaptive approach to multiperiod decisions. It emphasizes attaining a conceptual clarity about the nature of team decision-making. As in the case of single-person adaptive decision processes, the optimal team-communication rule and team-decision rule for a given period generally depend on the number of periods remaining in an adaptive team-decision process.
