Abstract: Three bombs are to be dropped on a rectangular target either in a stick or in an equilateral triangular pattern. Assuming bombing and aiming errors to be normally distributed and the damage function of each bomb to follow a non-circular exponential square fall-off law, the expected damaged area in both the cases is determined.
